Offering programs to the chiropractic profession to improve their technical excellence. We are looking to those dedicated chiropractors and chiropractic students who want to focus their mastery on delivering the chiropractic adjustment. While the triad for professional growth includes art, science, and philosophy, our programs are heavily weighted in the art and science of chiropractic.

The Institute is excited to announce another cutting-edge online program:

Balancing the Primary Dural Subluxation: Correcting the Sacro Occipital Respiratory (SOR) Mechanism

ARE YOU WONDERING WHERE TO BEGIN WITH YOUR PEDIATRIC PATIENTS? DO YOU WONDER IF YOU ARE ADDRESSING THEIR PRIMARY SUBLUXATION PATTERNS? DO YOU HAVE A WAY TO ACCESS AND CORRECT THE PRIMARY INSULT TO THEIR NERVOUS SYSTEM? ARE YOU WORKING WITH PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC RECURRING STRUCTURAL SUBLUXATION PATTERNS THAT ARE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE OR REDUCE?

“THE ONLY TRUE SUBLUXATION YOU EVER SEE MUST BE IN A CHILD PRIOR TO THE AGE OF SEVEN YEARS…. IF THIS SUBLUXATION GOES UNCORRECTED IT BECOMES A PRIMARY SOURCE OF STIMULUS THROUGH LIFE.” - MAJOR BERTRAND DEJARNETTE.

LEARN TO UNLOCK THIS UNDERLYING SUBLUXATION, BEFORE IT BECOMES A LIFELONG COMPENSATORY PATTERN

The SOR subluxation produces an abnormal neurological stimulus, changes dura meningeal tension, affects movement of CSF and has a global effect on spinal and cranial mechanics in the infant, child, and adult.

This system lays the foundation for proper, neurological, and structural development, especially in the first two years of life.  After that time, if left uncorrected, it can become the underlying cause for recurrent or unresolved structural compensatory patterns/ subluxations.

Learning to determine if there is an underlying ascending (sacrum – occiput) or descending (occiput – sacrum) primary subluxation and being able to correct it can be a game changer in your patient care protocols.

“There is a normal natural dynamic tension which is present in the function of the neural tissues within the brain and spinal cord.  These tensions are maintained through positions and connections existing in and around the neural substance via the pia mater and dura mater” – Alf Brieg

In this course you will learn the complete protocols to evaluate the SOR and correct imbalances found in this system, effectively, safely, and efficiently.

The manifestations of vestibular damage are especially important in the evaluation of brainstem dysfunction injury. The circuitry of the vestibular system extends to a large part of the brainstem, and simple clinical tests of vestibular function can be formed to determine brainstem involvement. Knowing before the situation or condition escalates is paramount to achieving a more efficient, less stressful (both to the child and family) resolution.

Classes Include:

  • The Primary Dura Subluxation
  • Sacro Occipital Motion
  • SOR Evaluation
  • Anterior Sacrum and Sacral Segmental Adjustments
  • Occipital Sideslip and Compression Adjustment
  • Steps for Correcting Ascending and Descending Primary Subluxations
  • Demonstrations of the complete protocols taught in the previous classes.

We will guide you through interactive modules, evaluation and technique presentations, and practical demonstrations to enhance your learning experience. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills by following the step-by-step procedures, having your questions answered (through live Dr. Sharings, a private Facebook group, and email access to Drs. Rosen and Watson), and doing the calls to action (CTA). As you begin to apply your knowledge you will gain confidence in your abilities and see your clinical outcomes improve dramatically.

By the end of this course, you will have more tools in your toolbox to help more patients, in a consistent, effective manner.  By finding and addressing the primary meningeal subluxation, you will have an effective protocol to help address those more challenging cases, reduce, or remove chronic subluxation patterns, and get to the underlying cause of many of the neurological, meningeal, and structural issues that have been challenging in your practice.

Join us on this exciting learning journey and take a significant step towards enhancing your professional practice!

You will receive 8 modules over an 8-week period.
